Yes, I know I've been lacking in my postings but there just hasn't been much to discuss...yeah, right....

My new band has quickly recovered from firing our lead guitar player. The guy was likely the least professional musician I've ever had the displeasure of playing with. We planned to replace him anyway, though I was keeping an open mind if he blew us away at our gig, but when he walked off the stage at the start of a song that he both sang and played lead on, that was it. Not to mention that he started at least a half dozen songs in the wrong key.

Our bass player and female lead called to fire him and he blamed all his problems on me. They said talking to him was like those people on American Idol who suck and argue with Simon when he tells them that. Luckily we found a willing replacement who is one-eighty from the first guy. He shows up, knows the songs and doesn't talk twenty minutes of bullshit for every song we rehearse. Talk about a pleasant change.

The Red Sox are kicking ass but it's only early May and we all know how quickly things can turn...ala last season. It's great to see them winning but I don't get psyched until the fall.

Apparently my publisher is having serious problems with the original artwork done for my book and can't figure out how to get it into a format the printer can use. I'm going to have a friend of mine redo the fonts and fix it for her so I can finally get this damn book into print! It's the perfect book to sit at the beach and read...so now is the time.
