Well, it's been a long time since I've blogged but it's time to recap 2008 and move on to 2009...
Let's see, one of the highlights for me was my trip to Iraq (I guess that's a highlight) and then to London...
I took the year off from having a band, though there was one aborted effort that just didn't work out. This hiatus may last well into 2009...
I didn't really go on a vacation this year...so nothing to talk about there...though that is definitely going to change next year...
The great New Hampshire ice storm of 2008 kept us without power for five days...
...my team won an award for best small program at work...nothing else much happened there to report here...
Yeah, 2008 was overall a pretty non-descript year. Maybe that was a good thing...
Perhaps we should discuss what's on tap for 2009!
1. I'm planning on going to Montreal for the NHL All-Star Game weekend with my son. I doubt we'll get into the game but we should have a pretty good time at the fan festivities. We're planning on wearing Milan Lucic t-shirts...pray we don't get attacked by an enraged Montreal Canadians fan!
2. We're going to Orlando for winter break...its now been seven years since we moved away from there...looking forward to seeing the changes...
3. I'm hoping to get back into the studio with my buddy Bob to finish some older songs and perhaps record some new ones. It's looking positive for mid-January.
4. Tired of messing with publishing companies, I am incorporating my own...tentatively called "Sons of Liberty Publishing." This will provide me the opportunity to publish my own works as well as some other selected books down the road as I choose. More to come...
That's it off the top of my head. See you in 2009!
